The show ran for five seasons on the NBC television network, from January 23, 1983 to December 30, 1986.
La série a tenu 5 saisons, de Janvier 1983 à Décembre 1986.

Why was it so cool?

First the truck was cool…
Tout d’abord le camion était trop cool…

Then every episode was following the same path: same kind of bad guys, same victims, same kinda of stories, and the same end where they were building weapony vehicles out of old parts…
Ensuite chaque épisode était construit sur le même modèle: les même méchants, les mêmes genres de victime, la même histoire grosso modo et il finissait toujours par construire un véhicule de combat avec ce qu’il trouvaient…

Casting:

John “Hannibal” Smith (George Peppard)

The brain in the show, always smoking a cigar and saying: “I love it when a plan comes together”.
In real life, he died in 1994 from a penumonia while fighting a lung cancer.
Le cerveau du groupe, toujours un cigare à la bouche et sa fameuse citation: “J’adore qu’un plan se déroule sans accro”
Dans la vraie vie, il est mort en 1994 d’une pneumonie alors qu’il se battait contre un cancer des poumons.

Templeton “Faceman” Peck (Dirk Benedict) (Futé in French)

The smart boy of the team… He is also well known for playing Lieutenant Starbuck in the original Battlestar Galactica film and television series.
In real life, Benedict was diagnosed with prostate cancer and was told that the cure would be castration. He rented a cottage and chose a life of exclusion and decided to commit to a macrobiotic diet and physical training along with fasting instead of going for the castration operation.
Le petit malin du groupe… Il est aussi connu pour joué le Lieutenant Starbuck dans la première version de la série Galactica.
Dans la vraie vie, Benedicts fût diagnostiqué avec un cancer de la prostate et on lui dit que la cure se trouvait dans la castration. Il a loué un cottage et a choisi une vie d’exclusion pour s’adonner à un régime macrobiotic et un entrainement physique plutôt que d’avori recours à la castration.

H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock (Dwight Schultz) (Looping in french)

He has been declared insane and resides in a mental institution for the show’s first four seasons…
In the early 1990s, he had a recurring role as Lieutenant Reginald Barclay in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Schultz is also known for his voice talent. His voice credits include numerous popular video games and cartoons.
Le malade de l’équipe, déclaré fou et enfermé dans une institution mentale pendant les 4 premières saisons…
Au début des années 90, il a eu une rôle récurrent Reginald Barclauy dans Star Treck: Nouvelle Génération
Il est aussi connu pour sa voie: il a participé à de nombreux jeux vidéos et dessins animés.

Sgt. B.A. “Bad Attitude” Baracus (Mr. T) (Barracuda in French)

Known for his hair cut and always wearing many many gold chains… Mr. T entered the world of professional wrestling in 1985. He was Hulk Hogan’s tag-team partner at the first WrestleMani.
He is also famous for his play in Rocky III.
In 1995, he was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma.

Connu pour sa coupe de cheveux et le fait qu’il portait des dizaines de chaines… Mister T a commencé par le catch en 1985, quand il était le partenaire de Hulk Hogan.
Il est aussi connu pour son rôle dans Rocky III.
En 1985 il fût diagnostiqué avec un lymphome.
